This site features four incredible years of Phoenix Firebirds hockey
led by Head Coach Kenny Moffat in Tempe, Arizona. During
these years the teams from the Desert (both regular
season and spring) reached the
USA Hockey National Championships at the Tier 1 level
for the first time in Arizona history - in fact twice. The
chart below illustrates the number of hockey and other
sports' players who
have since gone on to play at the highest levels of
hockey - no wonder Phoenix has been called the new
"hockey factory"
